Reviews
I've been very interested about trying this place, but been leery about it because of some of the reviews. Well, my kids and I visited for my son's birthday, and everything was awesome. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our waiter was kind and quickly took our drink orders. When the drinks arrived he took our food orders. When we got our food it was hot, fresh, and delicious. Even my picky child, who generally doesn't eat seafood, tried some crab and lobster and LOVED it. The restaurant was super clean, as were the bathrooms. My one and only complain is that the table we were sat at was super wobbly, and with two younger children constantly wiggling around, it got a little annoying. For me that is not enough to knock off any stars. I was still very pleased with our visit, and we will definitely be back!
I finally had a chance to check out this restaurant and I was not disappointed, well besides the fact is was kind of hot in the area we sat in but I think that was because we sat in the bar area, which is also near the food steamer was. We went on a Saturday evening and to our surprise it wasn't super packed. There was a 30-45 minute wait for the dining area, but the hostess mentioned we could sit in the bar area and still get served just the same. We found immediate seating and was serviced quickly. The bartender was in charge of the area and she was very attentive to us all while doing her bartender duties. The time to receive our food wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, then again I was chatting it up and didn't really pay any attention. As previously stated it was kind of hot, but that was probably from the steamer and crowd. Generous size portions and fresh. The shrimp weren't overcooked, which I was afraid of bc of previous reviews. My husband is a big eater and not a big fan of seafood because he feels you have to eat a lot of it to get full, but I can honestly say he was pleased. He actually couldn't finish all his food. They do serve the food with their famous drop sauce but we all asked for it on the side in the event it wasn't good. The sauce was actually good and didn't disappoint. Overall the food and service was good, so I'm sure we will visit again.
Went to lunch with my husband to try this place out. Portions were huge, and very good. I had rice, fish, corn on the cob and shrimp. Service was also prompt. While the lunch itself was a little on the expensive side, I do think it was worth the cost Definitely come with an appetite!
This place is Legit for seafood! I have been trying to get here on past visits to Fayetteville, NC and it was my mission to make sure I checked them out while in NC this time! I order the shrimp and the whiting platter to share with family! The platters included corn; hush puppies and steak fries! Everything was seasoned to perfection and piping hot! During COVID..take out is the only option..the staff were friendly and service was prompt! On my next visit I plan to try the lobster tails that were sold out during this visit! 4 stars because they didn't have beverages to sell!
